5 Sep 2009 - PARKING OUTSIDE SCHOOL

Once again I am receiving complaints from local neighbours and parents regarding the incosiderate parking outside the school gates. At least two children were nearly injured when a parent of a pupil reversed into the driveway of the school gates. Mr Weston closes the gates to ensure that the pathway in front of the gates is free from obstruction to allow all parents and children to walk safely past them. Please do not attempt to turn or drop off children in front of these gates.

I have made contact with the parking enforcement officers from Bracknell Forest Borough Council and they will be making spot checks on the parking from time to time. They will issue drivers with fixed penalty notices if they ignore the parking restrictions.
